Standard stucco systems fail here fast — lath rusts, paper barriers break down, and finishes chalk and crack within years rather than decades. We've been working on Sunset Cliffs for decades, and our specs are engineered for the extreme exposure: two-layer Grade D weather-resistive paper, rust-resistant galvanized lath, a full three-coat hard-coat system, and an elastomeric acrylic topcoat that sheds salt moisture and bridges the hairline stress cracks that the constant wind opens.
