Coronado's housing stock — from the historic Village homes near Orange Avenue to the Cays estates along the Silver Strand — sits in one of the most salt-exposed environments in San Diego County. Standard stucco systems fail here faster than anywhere inland: lath rusts, paper barriers break down, and finishes chalk and crack under constant marine moisture. We've been working on Coronado for decades, and our specs are built for the island: two-layer Grade D weather-resistive paper, rust-resistant galvanized lath, full three-coat hard-coat systems, and optional elastomeric acrylic topcoats that shed salt moisture and bridge hairline cracks.
